Popular kamba gospel musician Myello to vie for embakasi south parliamentary seat.

Popular Kamba Gospel Musician Justus Myello has revealed that he will be vying for the Embakasi South Parliamentary seat which was declared vacant after the supreme court nullified the election of Wiper’s Julius Mawathe..

The “Ndina Sponsor” hit maker while speaking to countylens said that Embakasi south need urgent change and he is the one who will deliver them what they are looking for.

Myelo said that he had been approached by several leaders and Embakasi south residents to vie for the seat and he feels that as a young and God fearing man he would be the one to deliver their promises.

Myello will be contesting on a GRAND DREAM DEVELOPMENT PARTY (GDDP) ticket and will battle it with former MP Sumra of Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), the immediate former MP Julius Mawathe of Wiper Democratic Party among others.

He joins a host of other celebrities who have tried their luck in politics. Some have succeeded while others were floored.

Julius Mawathe had been declared the MP for Embakasi South during the August 2017 elections but the court of appeal nullified his election after ODM’s Sumra challenged the election.

Mawathe moved to supreme court but the highest court upheld the court of appeal decision and ordered IEBC to contact a fresh election.
